Psalm 100

v. 3 Know that the Lord is God.  It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Father, you are God.  You are Creator and I am yours.  I confess that I go astray and thank you for your steady and gentle love that pursues me and restores me.  Live in me.  Live through me.  Have your way in my heart.  Amen.

Psalm 99

v. 6 Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel was among those who called on his name; they called on the Lord and he answered them.

Lord, make me like your servants.  Give me the faith of Moses, Aaron and Samuel.  Let my life reflect You to those around me.  Most of all, help me believe that You know better than I do.  About everything.  Always.  Amen.

Psalm 98

v. 4 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music;

Lord God, I give you praise.  I raise my hands to you.  I raise my voice to you, bringing you worship and praise.  You alone are worthy.  You alone are the most high God.  Let all people everywhere bring Him praise and glory.  Lord God, you make my heart glad.  You bring life to my spirit.  I am nothing apart from you.  Amen.

Psalm 97

v. 11  Light shines on the righteous and joy on the upright in heart.

Lord God, I am tempted by darkness.  I am drawn toward evil.  I need your light to shine on me.  Make me righteous and upright in heart.  Fill me with the joy that comes only from you.  Amen.
