Psalm 66

v. 16  Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me.


Lord God, you have done more than I can imagine.  You have pulled me out of the pit.  You have forgiven me.  You have saved my soul.  You have paid the price for my disobedience and for all the ugliness I have ever known.  Show me how to praise you.  Show me how to shout your praises to all.  Come and hear, all you who want to know Him.  Come and hear what He has done.  Come and hear how good He has been to me.  How patient, how kind.  How perfectly loving.  He will not let me fall, no matter how shaky my commitment to Him.  His commitment to me is rock solid.  I love you, my Lord and my God.

Psalm 65

v. 3 When we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave our transgressions.

Father, thank you for loving, rescuing, and forgiving.  You are a good and great God.  You are a good and great Father.  I have been overwhelmed by sins.  You have pulled me up and forgiven me.  Thank you.  I love you.  I need you.  Amen.

Psalm 64

v. 10  The righteous will rejoice in the Lord and take refuge in him; all the upright in heart will glory in him!

Lord, make me righteous.  Forgive me and cleanse me.  Teach me to rejoice and take refuge in you.  Teach me to glory in you.  I know I look elsewhere to have my needs met.  I know I have a warped view of what my needs even are.  I want to be yours completely.  I want to be yours wholly.  Make your heart my greatest desire.

Psalm 63

v. 8  I cling to you; your right hand upholds me.


Lord, I don't even have the strength to cling to you.  Hold me close.  Give me the strength I need.  Be my strength.  Hold me up.  I am stretched too thin.  Teach me to cling to you.  In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
